I'll go with...

CRUISE TRILOGY
Cocktail
Top Gun
...Legend

SWAYZE TRILOGY
Roadhouse
Point Break
... Red Dawn or Next of Kin.  Don't really care which as long as they both eventually get done somewhere along the line.

KEANU TRILOGY
Point Break
The Matrix
...Youngblood.  Though, ok, I just really want more Swayze movies to be riffed.  But Keanu IS in this.

HORROR TRILOGY
Halloween
The Grudge
...Cursed

FRANCHISE TRILOGY
Star Trek 5
Star Wars: Episode 1
... Indiana Jones movie (agree with UK on this one)

BIG DUMB ACTION TRILOGY
xXx
Fifth Element
...Commando

I think Eyes Wide Shut should be done to close up the Tom Cruise trilogy. A steaming pile of hollywood elitist bullcrap mixed with Kubrick bullcrap.

Mike is below anything and everything Kubrick has ever done. No Kubrick film should ever be featured on RiffTrax.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

Seconded. And he was such a good TV director, too...

Not even Spartacus? Kubrick even admitted to not being proud of how it came out, though it wasn't all his fault.

I agree with whoever said no more Matrix or Star Wars (or Star Trek or LotR for that matter). There are WAY too many choices out there to start treading familiar ground. Sure, maybe at some point, but the movie world is Mike's buffet... no need to get seconds on anything just quite yet.

Well, I don't want him to do another Star Wars or Matrix riff.  I'd rather he keep spreading his wings and tackle some other movies.  I've had enough Star Wars for awhile, and he's already done a few Keanu flicks.  There's a trove of other movies to pick from.

agreed.  sooooo many bad films, so little time!

I'm sure that sales figures will play a role in what film series are continued.  If they tally up the sales figures and see that the Star Wars, Star Trek, and LOTR riffs are the best selling, then it would stand to reason that they might be inclined to bring us other installments of those series.

For instance if Star Wars or LOTR outsold Island of Dr Moreau or Firewall by a margin of 4 to 1, then they might see some benefit in doing the other Star Wars and LOTR films.

Personally, I'd love to see more Trek and Star Wars done.  But I don't think I'd care to see more Matrix films done.  It seems that after the first one, you'd just be beating a dead horse.  While Trek and Star Wars are so iconic, that more riffing would be awesome.  I would vote for the other 9 Trek films to be riffed, and the other 5 Star Wars films.  Even the great ones have a good riffing coming to them.

Oops. Forgot about that one. Yeah, that would be riff-worthy. It's a good film, even though Kubrick disowned it, but it's definitely riff-worthy.
