...

Did Cinematic Titanic actually create the title screen for The Oozing Skull? I assume they must have, due to the fact that they were required to change the name of the film. That title shot looked pretty pristine compared to the rest of the opening credits.

I am sure they did.

Anyone have a line on the font used for the title? I have come close but can't find the ringer.

Nah Cinematic is the only font I have worked out so far. :S

Hmmmmm, does this concept work for anybody?   The front is supposed to be the side of a movie theater with the various now playing signs.    As new titles are released, the previous title will be moved to the left and cut in half.   Toying with the idea of having the left half of a person on the bottom right so it looks like someone is walking by.   Maybe if I can find a piture of one of the CT members walking.....

The back is a mess and needs massive formatting, but I just put in the text as a placeholder for spacing.   I dont know if screencaps would look good on the back or not.......

Comments?   If you think "it sucks", that is a valid comment too.

Thanks.

Actually, I think that looks pretty good. I like the idea of having the "now playing" posters, and scrolling through them as new ones are released.

I think the back cover works BETTER with the sillouettes than it would with actual pictures, since that is kind of the whole CT experience.

What poster did you use for the one on the left.  You should see if you can find the poster for Mitchell for the cut off one since that was the last time Joel was in the theater.  Just a thought.   I like the concept though.

Look Closer!

About the cover: I'd consider making the posters bigger since they're going to be the only thing changing on each cover...

Wow, I thought I was the only one who though the Mitchel poster would be the way to go.   I guess all we MST3K folks think alike!

I agree, ditching the actual cast screen shot on the back is best.

I think the posters on the front should be bigger too.   The only problem is the posters for these "fine films" are pretty low res and they will get pixlated if I blow them too much.    But, I think I can get away with making them a bit bigger without making them look too much like crap.

I thought for some reason that was Leatherface holding a chainsaw.  That's awesome.

Ooh, I like the idea of both the velvet rope and the marquee sign (dilapidated) at the top. Those would both look great in the existing picture. I'd certainly use that for my own DVD rather than going to the trouble of trying to make one myself (assuming the download option ever becomes available for this title - I'm not going to pay DVD Wagon the extra money they charge for shipping).

Good progress, back looks much better and I'm liking the aged look on the CT sign.
