I hope the song is a new verison of 'The Touch'... greatest song ever!

I still get goosebumps when it kicks in where Prime transforms in slow motion smashes through a bunch of Decepticons, flies in the air and turns to robot mode and begins blasting the hell out of them...
In brightest day, in darkest night
No DVD shall escape their sight
Let those who tremble in bad movies light,
Beware the power, Rifftrax's might!

Then Megatron kills him, mentally scarring my entire generation.

Can't wait for DVD rerelease next week. o/` You've got the touch! You've got the pow-ER! o/`

Okay, yes. Transformers NEEDS AND DEMANDS to be riffed. I say this as a guy who grew up on the original series and still holds it near and dear to his heart. I just saw the movie, and... I just don't know where to start. The only saving grace was Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime. All I ask is that when you riff it, you go easy on the Autobots. Other than that, rip Michael Bay a new &%*$!

I also really liked the movie... but I dunno about a riff. It would be hard for the guys to get a word in edgewise during the final 45 minutes of non-stop kickass robot fighting. Altho, I think most of the rest of the movie would make for good fodder.

I agree with Red Tape here. I enjoyed the movie, but it'll make for a good Rifftrax.

If anyone here has half the sense that I do, then you'll know there are hundreds of movies far more deserving and in dire need of a rifftrax... Speed 2 anyone?

Again, though, movies don't have to hurt to be good riffs. And Speed 2 hurt. There was a scene where the hero was, with no subltey or question, posing while wet. When he says, "Are you okay?" watch for it.

Add onto what Junkyard said the fact that...

- There was no real build up on the storyline at all to show why the fight between Optimus and Megatron is an epic struggle of good vs evil

- Almost no interplay between the actual Transformers

- They cut to the humans constantly, while the Transformers are actually fighting... which is what I went to see... the Transformers fighting I mean, not the cutting back to the humans.

And... ugh, I don't want to continue. It will just fuel my hatred of Michael Bay, and there's too much hate in the world as it is.

I kinda understand what you mean about their cutting back to the humans, but I'm actually kida glad for it. I have trouble staying interested during overly long, focused fights, frankly. And I actually liked the humans in this film, for the most part.

I loved the movie to death and was very happy with it. If they did a Rifftrax then all the better. Just add to my enjoyment when I watch the DVD..
