Movies that i love, but would like to see riffed
« on: November 02, 2006, 09:44:15 AM »
This post is for people with a sense of humor only.

It's in response to the ridiculous notion that some movies are sacred ...  get a sense of humor, you'll live longer, smile more, & have more sex.

Without further adieu...  Movies that i love, but would like to see riffed

Terminator 2
- Arrrrnold

Young Guns
  - The sheen brothers

The X-files: FTF
 - umm, "the on the patch but trying to quit cigarette smoking man"

The Shining
 - Heeree's Johnny, probaly only 20 percent acting needed

Scream
- The movie that saved the "R" rating- respect... but lets trash it!

The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly
 - My favorite movie, but with a title like that the jokes write themselves

Desperado
- Great flick but Antonio Bandaras has it coming

Jurassic Park
- would be very surprised if this one isn't already planned

The Blues Brothers
- not sure if theres enough jokes for this one but sure would be interesting

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Corey Feldman HahaHa, just imagine the fun

... The Goonies / Jaws/ Indiana Jones / etcetera / etcetera

Post your own movies that you love, but want to see riffed

The Green Mile. I really like that movie but I recognize that there is some prime riffing material there. At least I think there is.
Aaahh! This movie just throws you violently into the next scene!

I know that he doesn't usually riff good comedies, but I'd like to see him do some Abbot and Costello. He can do a good riff without having to be "on" all the time.  A nice commentary track that has wit and is informative would be great.

I really like Dune, but I think it is absolutely full of riffable material.  Although, I'd imagine its very unlikely that they will ever do it.

How about The Ten Commandments? Mike and Kevin "coveting" stuff, doing Edward G. Robinson impressions and 101 bald jokes for Yul Bryner.  There's your Easter special!!
Has anyone started a thread for Valentine movies?  Love Story, The Way We Were, there must be dozens of possibilities.
