without a doubt, my favorite skit was during Mighty Jack, where Tom and Crow drop that lame 'interrogation' device on Joel's head and try to get him to open his eyes and look at the blinding lights. that and the 'he tried to kill me with a forklift' song

Cowboy Mike's RICOCHEEEET BBQ sauce. IT'S BOLD
I'll second that!  From #612, The Starfighters.

Also, the all-Servo Choir from that show too. :)

I loved in 814-Riding with Death, where Servo made a song about the 70s. But Servo was confused on the nomenclature, which he thought Mike and Crow were talking about the period of 70-79 AD, not the 1970's.  Not that funny when you have to explain it, but i found it funny the first time i saw it.

I forgot all about that song, but it all just flooded back.  I laughed my ass off at that thing.  That and the Canada song where Mike and Crow poked fun while Servo tried to be serious and respectful, but then snapped and went off ultra-hateful toward the Canuks until the other two talked him down.

i'd have to say that one of my favs has to be the Pants Song from Hercules vs. the moon men. definitely a classic in my book

"sing the praises of pants...."
You know it's hard enough trying to decide on which movie to see at a theater, much less trying to find someone to help pay the massive amount of money it takes just to see one these days. i mean it'd help if movies these days were actually interesting, but so far no dice on that front...

The whole Bake Sell / Mile High Meringue bit.  Sheesh, I am starting to sound like a broken record.  Someday, I will find it.  There are still days though that we wander around the house chanting "PANTS!"

Crow falling off the mile high merigne pie in 803 was a killer...

I liked the "nuclear war gameshow" they had in "invasion USA". Wow, they mentioned polonium a long time before vladimir putin, er I mean someone, used it to murder that soviet dissident.

@ plastic self cleaning duck: We've disagreed a lot, but your sig calling on people to pressure bill "the giant head" o'reilley into apologizing to homeless vets was right on the money and I'm glad you postd it.

My favorite was I think during "Prince of Space."  Each crewmember was either one second ahead or one second behind.  It was really clever dialogue.  It's like a skit directly from a Monty Python episode.

Are you ready for me to admit some blasphemy that could have me flamed?

Tibby, the old school, camera lens overlays, and the Johnny Longtorso "everything sold separately" are some of my favorites. There are so many, though, and I'm sure there are things that aren't coming to mind right away.

Anything with Torgo is going to be gold.

Isn't it Tom she said that to?

I don't like the skits.  Dr. Forrester's stuff is enjoyable enough but I don't like Joel all that much, so that cancels out.  I almost ALWAYS skip the skits.  Now excuse me.  I must prepare for an onslaught of flammage.

While I do like some of the skits, I can't agree with you more. I find Joel to be like nails on a chalkboard. Whenenver a skit depends on him, it invariably bombs. Mike was great, and could actually act! He interacted better with the puppets, and I think had better comic timing.
Dr. Forrester is GOLD, all the time (maybe that's why he's Crow), and TVs Frank is sometimes annoying, but has plenty of moments where he shines. Pearl Forrester is the living embodiment of a "cinematic suppository", no entertaining qualities. Even Bobo and Brain Guy had their moments "My species is pacifist, and only kills out of personal spite." But never Pearl. So that means that the best seasons for the skits for me are half of season 6 and season 7.

I know, I know, this will probably get me flamed, but darn it, I missed out on the Great Flame War. Sorry, I just had to get that out of my system.
