Oh, hey. Tomorrow (Apr 21) is customer appreciation day at Jimmy Johns. $1 subs from 11-3. Only certain types though, and you're not allowed to touch the employees. Because I always paw the folks making my sandwich after I make an order.

Barnes & Noble currently have 40% off blu rays + a voucher that gives you 30% off if you spend $150.

So it's an even better deal than the 50% off Criterion Sale that's about to start.

BNJUNE30 is the voucher.
FINE

Maybe. But it's a night out without the kids!

Probably only local deals, but Meijer opened up a new store here this week and a lot of other stores have lowered prices to match what Meijer is pushing as deals for the opening. Pretty much everyone here is selling strawberries for 88 cents a pound (bought 4 and froze 2) and 12 packs of Pepsi products at 5 for $10. Meijer also put out a coupon to save $5 off any purchase of $25 or more and many of the other stores have put out their own coupons to match.
Hadn't been into a Meijer before. Kind of a more upscale Wal Mart super center. Nice store, but probably won't shop there very often as their prices (except on sale items) seemed a bit higher than stores that are closer to my home.

Yeah Meijer looks to be an upper mid-west chain.. None anywhere here in the Carolinas but 5 for $10 is an awesome deal :o
Target had a $5 for $10 one time a few years back and I loaded up back then  ;D

Local theater chain only charges $5 per ticket on Tuesdays.
As a bonus to rewards members (doesn't cost to join the program), rewards members can get a free small popcorn and $2 hotdogs and $2 small soft drinks (also only on Tuesdays, but boy, they don't advertise the free popcorn or $2 hotdogs and drinks at all in the theater- only knew about it due to emails)-in fact a "small" pocorn and "small" soda aren't even on the menu, so are smaller that what you can normally order, but still plenty big).

I bought a membership in AMC Stubs A-List.  For $20 a month I can see up to 3 movies per week at any AMC theater.  Since I could not possibly see more than 3 movies in a week, this is essentially unlimited free movies.

Also, GenCon was here in Indianapolis last week.  On Sunday, I bought four Dungeons and Dragons books at pretty good prices.  I got 3rd edition Deities and Demigods for only 10 bucks.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

The price of beef around here is ridiculous lately. Local grocery store chain has fresh ground 85% lean on sale for $2.97 a pound in 1 pound packages (most similar deals I've seen recently are for 5 plus lb. packeges). Bought 3, made burgers last night with 1 and froze the other 2.

More national deal-Aldi Foods has beef brisket on sale for $4.29 a pound. Not something they normally carry and actually not something I was looking for when I went there today, but I bought a 5 lb brisket (only 1 they ha left) and I'm going to smoke it on Saturday.
