Yeah, there's a lot to work with here. Dodgy sets which look like they're made of cardboard, overuse of fade-in and slow-mo effects, people possessed by alien ghost who apparently like to dress as goths, and Natasha Henstridge trying to act. Could be good fun.

Just think how bad it could've been: Natasha Henstridge replaced Courtney Love at the last minute.

Courtney Love getting punched in the face by Ice Cube? I could have watched that. But yes, this is ripe for the picking. Just when you thought Carpenter had hit a career low with Vampires he drops this on the world.

Courtney Love getting punched in the face by Ice Cube?

In slow motion.
Repeatedly.
For the entire 90 or so minutes of the movie.
Do electric sheep dream of android Scotsmen?

This movie officially ended my good feelings towards John Carpenter.

(Well, this movie and the fact the lying sack of shit endorsed that ghawdawful "The thing" PC game that he lied his ass off about...)
Everyone who believes in justice, racial equality and free speech should support Duane "the Dog" Chapman and boycott anyone who takes action against him.
