There's nothing like being self-employed IMO..
But when your business is face-to-face, like income tax preparation for example, some customers are just a real pleasure to deal with ::)

"WHAR'S MAH REEFUND?!" When we just mailed it (no e-file) last Monday; just 1 week ago, and mail service has been interrupted for 2-3 days last week due to the weather! :grr:

I'm perfectly willing to handle pretty much anything of Kat Dennings, aside from that wretched sitcom.

Is splooge really an accurate descriptive term for the bodily fluid component of female sexual response? It's mostly a sort of oozing or seepage, even in women who are ejaculatory the expelled fluid doesn't really have the viscosity of male ejaculate, which is what the term actually describes.

Is there a term for words that, like ononatopoeia, describe something of the nature of the subject in how they sound but convey texture rather than sound? Splooge is one of those; it conveys the semi-gelatinous nature of recently expelled seminal fluid.

I am genuinely interested in the answer to the second question though; I mean there are words where their sound evokes something of the texture of the thing being named.

I don't know what that would be called.

I've always wanted onomatopoeia-like words for smells. Having no sense of smell myself, I find the words used to describe a smell extremely lacking.  Pretty much the only way to describe how something smells is to reference it to something else. But what if you've never smelled that?  The English language can describe quite well something you've never seen, heard or felt before, but not smell.

Onomatoviscosity?
Well no because viscosity is only one element of texture and it's not the significant one for many things.

I dreamed last night that i beat the crap out of Zach Galifianakis for leaving a door open and my cat getting out.

I woke up saying "No!" because I couldn't find her. There she was on my chest, looking down at me.

"Mao?" she asked.

"Nevermind sweetie. Night-night."

"Mao."
