No, "The Spanish Prisoner" it's the name of a con, and the name of a movie. The Nigerian prince scam would be an example of "The Spanish Prisoner" con. If you like con movies that is a really good one.

Very Hitchcockian as I recall.
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, etc World.Thought it was awful, some of the stunts are kind of fun but every single character was aggressively annoying and unfunny.
I bought the Criterion blu of that a couple of months back and haven't watched it yet. I'm curious to see the "extended" version.

I wouldn't buy it if it only had the extended edition because I doubt it improves the original.
