My copy just arrived from Deep Discount.  I just want to confirm that I am the last person on the planet to pre-order and receive theirs.

Just saw it.  I think it's the best film out of the 4 - which I know isn't saying a lot - but I don't think it's the best riff.  There are some great chucklesome moments throughout, but I prefer Hollywood After Dark.

Dare I say....I still can't make it all the way through Hollywood After Dark?

I mean, the "silent heist" part is funny - they wouldn't have used it in the preview if it wasn't.  And the stuff during the African-American stripper's act was funny.  Especially the Condi Rice bit.

But there were there are so many places that are just dull....and stuff like Mike's deep-thoated "Hollywood...After Dark!" just like he did "Horror...of Spider Island!" just makes me sad for the old days (and all the episodes I used to have but don't and aren't getting released on DVD).

And could Mike, Kevin and Bill really cost them so much that they couldn't have made a DVD with more than one chapter stop and an un-riffed verison of the movie included?

I really could care less about seeing the unriffed movie, but more chapter stops would definitely be nice.  Most of the time I watch these it's late at night and even at their best I'm in danger of falling asleep on them, would be so much better to wake up and skip back to what I missed.

I thought it was by far the best of the 4.  Even the host segments were less painful.  Flashes of the old days.

Agreed, it seemed they were finally getting back into their old school MST3K stride on Giant of Marathon.

Yeah but they didn't shoot these in the order that they were released, so who can tell when they got "back into their old school MST3K stride".

What order were they shot in?

I'm pretty sure Hollywood After Dark was the first one.

Yeah probably, since they had to do some audio editing when they said Mr. Honcho's name in beginning sketch in Hollywood After Dark.

...

So since nobody really knows, i guess they could have been recorded in the same order that they were released.
