I've got that new Taylor Swift song stuck in my head.

And I thought I would never say this, but I actually like it.  Me.  Liking a Taylor Swift song.  The horror....

There are many, MANY worse things to like. She's the least offensive whatever her classification is to my senses.

Not quite an earworm, but lately I've gotten repeating a lot on my iPod.

Every once in a great while Pandora plays Loud Pipes by Ratatat, which always gets this in my head.

Probably a different strokes/folks thing, but I find that remix pretty damn awesome. Maybe because the original song is pretty neato.

Right now my brain is going back and forth between "Jubilee Street" from the new Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds album (Sorry about that homemade Rifftrax/YouTube thing from years ago) and "We Don't Need Another Hero" by Tina Turner from the "Thunderdome" soundtrack. They both have similar grooves to them, and my mind will not let me forget this during times when I want it to shut up for once.  :grr:

So, Mr. Corbett stuck this song in my head:

I'll link this version too as I'm not as cruel as Bill is. Or am I?

I've been slowly (and randomly) making my way through the Bowie discography for the first time.

It's good stuff, isn't it?

He's so great at changing his style greatly and still being him.  Heathen is great.

So far I've only listened to Aladdin Sane, Hunky Dory, Low, Ziggy Stardust and The Next Day,  and they've all been great. I'll buy Heathen next.

I'd actually recommend Let's Dance next.  I do love Heathen, but outside of Next Day, you seem to be going chronologically.

It has the classic Let's Dance, but it also has Cat People (best known for it's use in Inglorious Basterds, despite being written for the 1984 Cat People remake) and Criminal World.

What I don't recommend is the ironically titled Never Let Me Down.  I guess this one has a reputation for not-goodness, but I learned how disappointingly dull this one first hand. I do have a soft spot for "Glass Spider", but that's because I have a weakness for song stories (Re: Spinal Tap's Stonehenge or Gorillaz "Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head")
