missed opportunities in Ep. II
« on: July 10, 2007, 11:15:35 PM »
In Star Wars Episode II, Attack of the Clones, you guys missed some good Star Trek gags.

Obi-Wan: "There's an unusual concentration of Federation starships..."

you guys: "Yeah look, there's the Enterprise and the Defiant and oh look, Voyager!"

Yoda: "Concentrate all your fire on the nearest Federation ship!"

you guys: "Another Enterprise meets its maker."

...or something.
Mike: "R-4 is the Windows ME of the Astromech droids"
Kevin: "Form a nerdier sentence! No, don't try! It's impossible!"

Would have gotten a rise out of the "Star Wars Fans who have decided to hate Star Trek" crowd.

I'm supprised there was no riff on how Padme was dressed after dinner. She intends to tell him she can't be involved with him, so they sit next to a fireplace, wearing the sluttiest outfit she has. Seriously, she looks like a hooker in that scene.

Doctor Who?

Maybe it was a last minute reshoot and they couldn't get Portman but Lucas figure no one would notice if he just picked up a hooker off the street.

A hooker sure couldn't act any worse then Portman.
