Okay, this is now my favorite Rifftrax EVER.

I just about suffocated myself to death laughing during the whole Enterprise crashing scene (the first one). I don't know why Picard would ever leave command of the ship to Riker when something horrible always happens to it when he does.

Yeah, the old man's "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" and "Prarie dogs are being decapitated by the second" lines, along with the "Picard checking on Number 1" bit made that the best part of the Riff.

Anyway, my favorite line and this hints at my low level of humor was the "It's the one labeled shake" by Kevin in "Kirk's house"

That's the best line in this Rifftrax and it's spoken by Mike. I can guess why you can't remember. ;)

Kirk: behind the Oregano
Mike: it's labeled shake... that's uh... Nexus for Oregano

Hilarious!

While some parts of the trax were funny, I kinda didn't like the overall tone of the thing.  It's probably because TNG is one of my favourite TV shows, but at times, the commentary was downright mean-spirited.   That said, the opening conversation between Mike and Kevin about Mike's wallpaper was hilarious.  I do hope they move on from Star Trek now, though.

I know the feeling. I always hoped they'd move beyond thunderdone. Never happened though.

Well what do you expect? Mike and the gang are Original Series guys. Alot of TOS people dislike all other Star Treks.

They are? Why the loathing for Scottie, Chekov, and Kirk then?  :)

I thought this was the funniest trek yet, and I enjoyed both of the previous trek-riffs.  Hands down, my favorite line in Generations had to be "I sense disturbed-ness..." over the shot of Councilor Troi giving puppy-dog eyes.  Instant classic!

Cause they are the movie versions. I don't think it is so much loathing for the original characters, just laughing at the stupid situations they may get into. But if you grew up with Star Trek around that time, and know a lot of the episode material, as various rifftrax and mstsk episodes would suggest, then I find it pretty hard to believe that they hate TOS. Sure it may be goofy sometimes, but its lovable.

...

This turned out to be one of the funniest Rifftrax that we've watched in awhile!

I have to admit that i was thinking the major reason for doing another Star Trek film was the money. Apparently these movies are among the most popular and, i assume, the most profitable. So when Disembaudio started in with the "Buy More Rifftrax!" gag... i thought "Oh great, here's a Star Trek quickie just for the money~"

But man, i was wrong! This was great. We were laughing so hard that we almost couldn't take it sometimes. Definitely one of my top picks, and probably the best Star Trek riff so far. Awesome!

After the first half of this one, I was ready to proclaim it the best ever. The riffs were clever and right on the money.

The second half of the movie was pretty dull, though, and started putting me to sleep. But it was probably mainly the movie's fault.

I'd still say that overall it still was really good!

Didn't care for this one.  They really didn't have anything original to offer that they hadn't already joked about in the previous Trek riffs.  This is the closest I've ever come to shutting off the riffs cause I was more interested in the movie but I'm sure they'll be back up to form next time.
