Monster HD
« on: June 28, 2007, 04:29:33 PM »
I just got a few new HD channels from Cablevision the other day.  One of them was Monster HD which as its name implies plays old horror movies.  Flipping through the menu a few of the movies rang a bell:

Teenage Caveman
Deadly Mantis
War of the Colossal Beast

All movies riffed on MST3K.  Just thought it was neat.  I'll probably dvr a few see how they look.  Also, they're going to be playing 'Evil Dead' and 'Dead Alive' in HD which I'm very much looking forward to watching.   :)
I've sort of fused Flashdance with MC Hammer shit.

Hmm, speaking of Evil Dead, apparently there is a musical version of Evil Dead playing in Toronto. How cool is that? ;)

They were running local commercials for an Evil Dead musical out on Long Island a while back.  Not sure if its the same production but the commercial looked... interesting.
