I got my DVD set on Friday and since I had never seen the show before I played it (mainly in the background) over the weekend and determined that I don't get it.  If a show doesn't have likable characters then it should have interesting ones and if it can't manage that then there should at least be interesting plots.  I found all of the characters to be unlikable jerks but were also banal in their jerkness so I couldn't even be interested in that.  I think the pinnacle of this would be in the second episode when they're sitting around complaining that the people with experience were doing the hard complicated things while they had to do the trainee grunt work (like they were interns or something).  Slap them on top of some warmed over medical show plots along the same lines of ever single medical show that has been on television since the 1950's and it's a recipe for a program I never want to see again.

As for the actual rifftrax, Bridget did a fine job but I don't think she has quite the riffing rhythm that Mary-Jo demonstrated.  I wouldn't complain if she became a regular riffer since I suspect that she just needs a few more tracks to get into the swing of things.

Great banter between the Nelsons.  Theirs must be a charming witty household with the regular exchange of clever bon mots amongst the everyday trials and tribulations of life.  A regular George and Gracie.  Or Homer and Marge.
My favorite lines were the "24" parody lines  and the remarks during "Previously...on Rifftrax."
Only thing missing was a short vocal solo by Dis during one of the many music medleys.

But aren't there more "womany" shows than Grey's?  Something like "Ghost Whisperer" or "Medium" or "Brothers and Sisters" or, the most womany of them all, "Desperate Housewives."

I'm sure there are, but I don't think I'd watch a Rifftrax of Ghost Whisperer either...

Unless the wife decides she has to own Grey's Anatomy on DVD... I probably will be skipping this one... Altho I am curious to see Bridget dropping some riffs.. I thought she gave some great turns during some of the MST host segments.

As far as Ghost Whisperer... that one I could probably go for... Jennifer Love is much easier on the eyes than that horrid skeletal zombie of an Ally McBeal impersonator from Grey's....

That was so funny I would seriously consider buying the Grey's DVD just to hear it again.

There is no higher praise.

Bridget is FANTASTIC! Why haven't they brought her on before, and when are they bringing her on again??

"Sounded better than Dr. McDoable." SNORK. Thank you, Bridget, for taking down that McNickname crap once and for all. Come back soon!!

Bring back Bridget!

Woah woah woah. Let's not go crazy, huh? Might say something that horrid skeletal zombies may take offense to!

;)
I work REALLY hard on the site. (Not the forum so much.) I'd love it if you bought me a beer via PayPal!

I really enjoyed the snark, my God Grey's Anatomy is a bad show.  I'd never watched it before, of course I've been spoiled by Scrubs and House MD.

My favorite line "Next, on Ally McDoctor".  Funny stuff.

I started laughing somewhere around Bridget's "So... this is what you do?" comment in the intro, and didn't stop until the end.  Great 'Trax!

They could do a pilot for a spin-off: "Cleavage Whisperer."

i thought that Mrs. Nelson did a wonderful job, and topped NPH as best "guest Riffer". (excludeding Murphy and Corbett)

many lines were laugh out loud funny, and I have found that I enjoy these riffs more when Mike is with someone rather than solo.  Predator, while good, got hard to watch towards the end.
