That's going to be tough.  Don't they have like 4 shows that normally air Monday nights?  Prison Break, 24, Terminator, and do they run American Idol on Mondays later on?

Oh, and I wish they would have kept River a bit more normal in public like she was in school in the pilot.  It just feels like they reverted her a bit just for the comedic value.

One thing I do like is that the skeletons of the Terminators is different.  I wonder if this is a result of a different past in developing them or if they're a pre-T800 model.  Although, I thought the 800 was the first one that had the human tissue in order to pass through the time travel device.

I actually rather like the way the "Rivernator" character behaves - she's relatively sociable compared with other Terminators, and she's capable of making simple small talk about fairly unpredictable things the way humans can, but more complex personal issues are just a BIT beyond her programming.  I remember reading a book (though I can't remember for the life of me what it was called or who wrote it) that detailed the differences between the way computers "think" and process information to the way humans do it.  Ultimately, it came to the conclusion that Strong AI would take a lot more than processor speed to develop - I'm pretty sure the author believed it to be impossible.

I mean, after all, she's a ROBOT, and should be written as one.

Yeah, I think this version of the Terminator is a bit more socially curious. The Arninator had no interest in socially bonding or blending in. He was there to do his job. The Summernator (What IS her character's name again? I wanna call her by name, but I always forget. :^)) asks for clarification on things and investigates. She's trying to fit into a society. She's Pinochio, and I have a feeling that's going to be a recurring theme throughout the show, and I like that. :^)

  I don't think she's got a genuine interest in acting or becoming more human (assuming she can even have genuine interests). Her motivations seem to revolve around her mission parameters only, so in this way she's very unlike Data. Frankly I hope they don't go in that direction with her. It'd be nice, for once, to watch a robot comfortable with being a robot.

Hint: She is ever-so-subtly named after an obscure director who may have done one or two robot movies a while ago.

This is quickly becoming my new favorite show! I ienjoyed the 3rd episode, but do to unavoidable events I missed the two night premiere. Can someone give me a recap of what happened? Details would be nice.

The episode opens with another view of the time portal that brought Sarah, John, and Cameron in the pilot episode, showing a Terminator skull as the only part of Cromartie that was within the transport bubble before the portal closed. It bounces into the tall grass of the roadside where it is later found and appropriated by a highway employee. Three days have passed since the Connors and Cameron arrived in September 2007, with Sarah and John both experiencing an effect that John coins as "time-lag," similar to jet-lag. John expresses the simple desire to go outside, but Sarah is concerned about obtaining his new identity first.

To get new identities, Cameron takes Sarah to meet with resistance fighters from the future, called Spiders, sent back in time to provide supplies such as money and weapons. When they arrive at the safe house, everyone is dead. Cameron and Sarah begin checking the bodies for barcodes, identifying them as former inmates at Skynet work camp. One of them reveals itself to be a Terminator and, recognizing Cameron as an unknown Terminator, its programming instructs it to evade and reevaluate its mission. Cameron gives pursuit while Sarah hijacks a motorcycle and crashes it into the Terminator. However, a passing car hits Cameron as she crosses the road, and the Terminator escapes.

As they return home, Sarah asks Cameron why they jumped to the future, instead of using the extra seven years to train John, calling Cameron "Tin Man." Cameron tells her that in 2005 she died of cancer. Making the jump to the future allows her to skip over her own death.

Back at home, John becomes impatient with waiting and ventures outside. He travels to a mall and is amazed at how computers have advanced since 1999. At a computer store, he finds a laptop and checks for news about the incident at the bank. He discovers that he and Sarah were presumed dead and that the FBI agent pursuing them had been James Ellison. John then goes to Charley's house and finds that he is married. When Charley arrives home, John incapacitates him and leaves.

With no place left to go, Sarah suggests they visit an old friend of hers, Enrique, who is an expert at forging identities. Unfortunately, Enrique informs them that he has retired, and that his nephew, Carlos, has taken over that business. Carlos tells Sarah that he needs $20,000 for all the IDs she needs, and goes on to explain to her that the 9/11 attacks have caused ID forgery prices to skyrocket. Carlos also inadvertently informs Sarah that his uncle is a snitch for the FBI.

They return home shortly after John gets back and decide to return to the resistance safe house to find the stash of money. They find a safe, but when Cameron attempts to tear the door off, she is temporarily incapacitated by an electric surge placed as a trap. John figures that the combination is the new Judgment Day's date, and he successfully opens the safe to find a duffel bag, just as the Terminator who previously escaped returns. They throw the still-offline Cameron out a window and barely manage to escape detection, though a shadowy figure with a barcode on its arm watches their departure from the shadows nearby.

Later, at home, Cameron explains that she understands the metaphor of the Tin Man nickname, as the adult John told her in the future how Sarah would read The Wizard of Oz (by Frank Baum) to him as a child in Spanish. Sarah suspects that Enrique is a traitor and breaks into his house to kill him. Sarah hesitates at Enrique's explanation, but Cameron shoots him, explaining that Sarah wouldn't. Later, Sarah is seen in a hospital undergoing tests.

Sarah gets their new identities, with a surname of Baum. Cromartie's reactivated head connects to its body, but conceals itself amongst homeless people with goggles and a paintball mask, as it has no biological covering. Agent Ellison is also seen at Enrique's house listening to a recording he made before he died offering to reveal the identity and whereabouts of a fugitive.
