They were pretty funny, my favorite was LOTR, I hated how that movie ended. Like the energizer bunny, it just kept ending and ending. Only one I didnt agree with was the blair witch ending, I thought it ended perfectly, but then I was one of the very few that saw it first run at midnight when everyone still thought it was real. Scared the ever loving shit out of me. I didnt sleep at all that night. I'm not too proud to admit it, I remember saying, I'm never going in the woods ever again. Well I've gone camping many times since. It's one of those movies you cannot possibly redo for like 50 yrs. Kinda like war of the worlds, it a generation thing.

The Lord of the Rings ending was a bit choppy.  They tried to end it where the book ended it, but cut out nearly everything that happened between the coronation of Aragorn and the boat to the Grey Havens.  Then again, they had to, because Sam didn't have his box of dirt from Lothlorien, and in the extended version, Saruman and Wormtongue were already dead.  It would be kind of like watching the Shawshank Redemption, but they ended it by cutting almost straight from

I'm with you, Quicksilver, I thought the first Blair Witch was pretty scary and very innovative.  Watching the silly Sci-Fi channel "mockumentary" actually helped to make it scarier.  I thought it was an interesting and well executed experiment in film making.  Eh...

But the Superman video of "How it should have ended...?" oh yeah, totally hilarious.

In all seriousness, I think the movie should have ended with the Wonka elevator landing on the ground (like it did in the book and the Burton movie). When I was a kid I used to assume that they were going to crash land. (yeah I know it clearly shows them floating, but I was a dumb child). I used to think it was one of the saddest endings ever.

Childhood trauma from films = Hilarity. I'm arachnaphobic, and I'm almost certain it draws from the fact the first movie I ever saw had huge spiders eating people in it. Forget what it was though.
