LOL when I saw the title of the thread I thought you were just talking about cats in general.
So did I. Hey it's the Internet. The half that isn't porn is cat videos.
Actually though, I did see this, just out of curiosity. And because I'm a fan of the stage version. Like I said in the "What was the last movie you watched" thread, I would recommend people see it, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend paying money to see it.
I found it interesting that they made Victoria the de facto main character. In the stage version, Victoria doesn't even have lines. It does make sense though. She's the only one with a "normal" name, so you could make the case that she's an outsider, and therefore you have an excuse to introduce all these other "Jellicle" cats to her.
It is a shame they had to cut out Growltiger's Last Stand and The Awful Battle of the Pekes and the Pollicles. In a show with virtually no plot, these song have nothing to do with anything even by Cats standards. Makes sense to cut them, but they're also the two most entertaining parts of the show. BTW, Pollicle is the Dog equivalent of Jellicle Cat.
