Panthers place Cam Newton on injured reserve due to nagging foot injury, ending his 2019 season.
It was bound to happen so now we'll see if he's traded/released during the off-season :-\
And then there's this..
https://www.espn.com/blog/carolina-panthers/post/_/id/32883/reality-cam-newton-has-likely-played-his-last-game-for-panthers
From a business perspective, it makes sense.

The Bills play the Browns in Cleveland and later the Panthers play the Packers in Green Bay

Breaking!
Quote
Cam Newton returning to the Panthers next year is “highly unlikely,” per Ian Rapoport. A trade involving the former MVP appears to be the “most likely option.”

Chiefs' special teams and crappy defense resulted in loss to the Titans. Wish Chiefs off week was next week instead of the week after.

Yeah, wild game in Green Bay. But lots of games yesterday that came down to the very end.

The bye week for the Eagles didn't see injured players getting more healthy, instead several are probably done for the season and new players have been brought in.  So the Eagles as a team got healthier during the bye, questionable if they got better as a team.

Patriots are in Philly for the 4:25 game this afternoon.

Packers bye week and Chiefs don't play until Monday night (and then buy week next week).

So Kaepernick apparently doesn't really want to play despite all his grievances and lawsuit. Yeah, NFL motives behind having a workout for him with less than a week's notice are suspect, but they were able to get over 2/3s of the teams to send a scout. Really hope the Dolphins offer him a contract (what do they really have to lose) which I think he would come up with some excuse not to accept.

The Panthers got embarrassed at home by the Falcons.. Now we see what New Orleans was surprised by :-[
But the Bills had a solid win over the Dolphins to go 7-3 on the season

Well, Eagles defense played great, even better than the score suggests because they were on the field most of the time the last 3 quarters.

Offense came out strong in the first quarter but then couldn't do anything the next 3 quarters.  Of course it's hard to do anything when you have no wide receivers and no running backs, and half the offensive line goes out with injuries.

I forgot to mention that with the Bills win yesterday, their record of 7-3 is the best record they've had since 1999.. It's been a long 20 years :o
