Maybe I missed something, but there was no PAL version available for this one.. any reason for that? Getting major drift wasn't fun. :/

It is posted on the catalog page that there wasn't one yet. The movie has edits in the other regions that were not in the Region 1 release.

We are working on a PAL version, we'll have it up as soon as it's ready. If you have purchased the NTSC and needed PAL, send support at rifftrax an email (when the new PAL file is posted) and we'll activate a link for it.

Any update on the PAL version?

"It's been more than 10 days!" he said, whining like a little child.

Er, it was done.....
* BathTub cries over his keyboard

Audacity munged the file, so I have to start again, however I saved my notes on where the cuts were so hopefully it will only be a mornings work. Another mornings work.... for info though there are about 10 cuts to the US version over the course of the film.

I want to say something witty here about how "audacous" audacity is... but this is why I really need to leave the jokes to Mike, Kevin, et al.

Thanks for the work, BathTub!

The Scenes that are cut for the US are even crazier than Casino Royale for the most part.

The very first one is the old geezer saying 'oh brom and his stories", a couple are less lingering over the wizard dude as hes either shot in the head or stabbed. some slight trims to various hits and explosions. and a lot of Burninating during the final big fight. They seemed concerned that people didn't see the effects of lighting people on fire. for example the scene near the end with the guy in a cell and a burning man comes running in (kevin does the overflowing toilet riff) and most of the guy running around on fire is cut.

yeah so the final was 11 cuts totalling around 40-45 seconds (depending on format).

The PAL version is now available. If you've already purchased Eragon, but need the PAL version instead, send SUPPORT an email and we'll work on getting it out to you. Thanks!
