I'm trying it this year, though i didn't know it had a name. And I'm only counting movies I haven't seen before. Right now, I'm easily on pace to end with over 365, but it's a long year. I do have the advantage of a job where I can watch Netflix for most of my shift (hotel front desk night shift), so that should help.

This sounds like the real challenge here is to make movies less fun.

Yeah, I agree. And I'm someone who's watched a *lot* of stuff just for the sake of watching something at that particular moment.

He made it easier in 2015. In 2014 he tried one a day. I think he made it a month before he missed a day.

You know who else watched a movie every day? Hitler.

I'm enjoying it right now, though it's more of a goal than a challenge for me.  Right now it's giving me an excuse to catch up on all of the smaller 2015 movies that I've wanted to see.  I would never try to hold to a strict requirement of one movie a day though, I don't think I've ever even managed that when I've done the October horror movie a day challenge.

I think Inside Out won it for me this year. (STILL Haven't seen Star Wars yet. A week from Saturday!)

I haven't seen nearly enough to say what my toppermost movie is (and it sometimes can take a year or two or more before we get a chance to see foreign films here in the States) But at the moment Ex Machina and Inside Out are my front runners.
