I have you all beat...I have an In-n-out burger near my house, and for that, I will always be grateful.

But one great thing about Vegas, is that if you want to fight the tourists, and and the traffic, you can always take the drive to the strip, and go to a restaurant owned and worked by famous chefs.

Shee-it. If i lived in Vegas, I wouldn't even WALK the strip, it's so busy.

... also, it smells like the armpit of a defeated man. I gotta say, I just really hate Vegas.

Actually...You've probably been to the strip more than me, and I live here. If you get away from the strip, Vegas is pretty awesome. But you are right, it smells bad, and its about ten degrees hotter on the strip than anywhere else in vegas because of the amount of asphalt.

Hey Fortis have you gone to the restaurant run by the Hell's Kitchen winner?

No...I'm all talk, I rarely go to restaurants...I've actaully never even been to the Burger Bar...though I go to In-n-out burger regularly. Its the only fast food that doesn't make me sick

Yeah, while driving off to a nearby park, I saw part of the rest of vegas, and it actually seemed pretty lively (in a way that didn't make me pity my fellow man.) But yeah, the strip. There's absolutely no refuge. The noise is EVERYWHERE. Even the bathrooms, for goodness sake!

As for fast food, we have a high concentration of Taco Bells where I am. Not that I'm complaining, I'm one of those people who doesn't mind their "rubber tortilla filled with stuff squirted from a tube" approch to cuisine.

Chicken can be good, though I find Turkey to be more flavourful.

Got to say, I've never been in an American BK.

There's one near the Tesco in Stratford which I've walked into once, they had a bean burger I seem to recall.

I used to clean out the broiler slop at the end of the night when I worked there.  Makes you NOT want a Whopper.

I I know how that is, during college I'd do a bit of cheffing during the holidays and as a consequence I could never bring myself to eat in any of the restaurants I'd worked in.

They were violating the health codes but the thought I the drudge work just made their menus completely unappealing.

The worst of the worst, by the way: Fast food Chinese.

It's so terrible, it just shouldn't exsist.
