I have you all beat...I have an In-n-out burger near my house, and for that, I will always be grateful.
But one great thing about Vegas, is that if you want to fight the tourists, and and the traffic, you can always take the drive to the strip, and go to a restaurant owned and worked by famous chefs.
Shee-it. If i lived in Vegas, I wouldn't even WALK the strip, it's so busy.
... also, it smells like the armpit of a defeated man. I gotta say, I just really hate Vegas.
Actually...You've probably been to the strip more than me, and I live here. If you get away from the strip, Vegas is pretty awesome. But you are right, it smells bad, and its about ten degrees hotter on the strip than anywhere else in vegas because of the amount of asphalt.
Yeah, while driving off to a nearby park, I saw part of the rest of vegas, and it actually seemed pretty lively (in a way that didn't make me pity my fellow man.) But yeah, the strip. There's absolutely no refuge. The noise is EVERYWHERE. Even the bathrooms, for goodness sake!
As for fast food, we have a high concentration of Taco Bells where I am. Not that I'm complaining, I'm one of those people who doesn't mind their "rubber tortilla filled with stuff squirted from a tube" approch to cuisine.
