Was playing one of my own levels yesterday and I couldn't beat it. It was very, very early in the morning, so I wasn't at my best, but even still... Before yesterday I beat it plenty of times - I play my levels a bunch before I upload them. It involved pulling off a long jump from a music note block, which is one of my least favourite types of obstacles in a Mario game. Might go back and edit it.

I never found my levels too hard before, I always thought they were right in the middle and I think that's the kind of trap that isn't much fun.

Ok, must have just been tiredness, because I walked right through it today. Weirdly only one person has managed to complete it so far though.
FINE

I found two of yours too hard to complete, I think. The first one with the pipe floor, and 1-8.

Just four stars off being able to upload more levels if you've been meaning to star some, I'd appreciate it...

Had to return the game to the library this morning, but immediately placed another hold on it, so we should have it back again in another week or two.

That is very surprising to me. I find yours very challenging and worry mine are too easy. I guess we build to our strengths.

Any specific things that are too hard/ annoying for me to work on? (Most of my levels are long, and I would put checkpoints in if I had the chance)

The pipe floor one being 1-1? I've been thinking about redoing that one, except that it would throw all of my named levels out of order.

Every level I've built has hidden things in it, but that one has one that is too hard for me to get. :P

The level should be fairly simple though, you just send a turtle along the bottom to clear out the flowers and destroy the bricks. You even have a few spare turtles in the ? Blocks. You just have to keep up with it and make sure it takes all the flowers out.

I just realized I hadn't starred most of David's courses. Not sure what happened there - Possibly that I intended to go back and try and finish them as almost all of them a re too hard for me. :P

Anyway, all starred now.

Here are my level completion rate percentages:

1-1 20%
1-2 10%
1-3 31%
1-4 10%
1-5 12%
1-6 18%
1-7 2% <- This is the one I had trouble with the other day*
1-8 8%
3-1 7%
3-2 9%

*Looking at the level map, and the little X's where people die, they all seem to die early and just give up on this level. :/

I've already uploaded 10 levels. Nothing too impressive, but I've always tried to make them fun and just a little crazy. Some of them are pretty short though.
Here's the codes to access my levels

447D 0000 007D DD69
4DB1 0000 007D D6BD
A2A8 0000 007D C57F
F9B0 0000 007D BBF3
F8E1 0000 007D B229
CCD2 0000 007D A392
FB1D 0000 007B 6164
EDB4 0000 007B 4BC1
FA1A 0000 007B 4073
36CA 0000 007B 3BD5

I really want to make MORE levels since they just added more stuff. I've wanted to make Mario Levels for over 30 years now. :)

Please feel free to comment on my levels and add me to your friends.

I hereby close this thread on the grounds that it's making me want to buy a WiiU too badly.  It's closed now.  Everyone go home.  Nothing to see here.

Not cheap enough to justify buying it for 2 games, maybe 3.

Well, Nintendo bundles them with at least one game, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D world, Super Mario Maker... or the.... sigh... Skylanders bundle. Considering the games are 60 bucks each, it's a fairly decent bargain for a system that's going on being 3 years old now. If you still have your old Wii Hardware, make sure to at least hold onto any wii motes you may still have since you can program them to work with your virtual console games. I love being able to program Wii motes so I can play some Super Nintendo Games. To me, that is just so damn awesome.

Thanks for the stars! All right, started with 1-7 and 1-8 to return the favor.
First one's okay. Only death was those thwomps at the beginning. A bit too high to prepare for, especially in a sky level and after jumping up from a lower place like that. Also felt a little empty overall.

More gotcha thwomps in the second one too, if you take the low route. Grrr, I say. But hurrah for multiple routes.

e: Also 1-1 is a little tedious and not exactly an intro level. Maybe put the koopas in pipes cause the player needs them so much and take the piranhas out of pipes so the bastards stop hiding.

3-1's a little better put together, you're getting better.

There, we're both in the koopa medal club.
