I enjoyed the Christmas episode a lot. The motivations for the villain was very unique and unexpected. I love the idea of the different theme song. I just don't happen to like that musical style, so it did nothing for me.
Seeing Donald young was interesting, but I wonder if they will try to explain later that his voice got even more incoherent as he got older?

I saw the latest episode Treasure of the Found Lamp. Wow, that was the first episode in this series so far that was just straight up awful. We are given absolutely nothing to care about Djinn and his quest. And most frustratingly, there is no reason for Scrooge McDuck to be intimidated by him! Half of the episode we know is a waste of time as we're watching it, and then at the end we find out the whole thing is a waste of time. Which would be more forgivable if it was funny, but it's really not. I barely chuckled a few times.
The only thing I liked was during the origin of the lamp when a character decides their first wish is to free the Genie.
