Oh. I wasn't aware there was one.

Here you go then:

Krull

When your movie is batshit insane, even by 80s fantasy pics, THAT is saying something! A buff hero with bumbling sidekicks who has to save a princess. Okay, that doesn't sound so crazy. But this has an appearing and dissapearing villain castle lair. And a cool five bladed frisbee thing that looks like it should have ironic "hands off" stickers all over it. Big humanlike bat creatures that dissolve people with their hugs. Yeah, it's a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

This movie is most known for: Um...it's fucking KRULL!

Noted riffs:
"The man loves his lime jello!"

Available on Netflix Instant? Yes

About the group: Another group I am unfamiliar with. But it takes some manly fortitude to sit through Krull enough to write riffs, so I will give them that. Not a particularly prolific group (only 3 so far).

Synopsis:
Beatrice "Bea" Arthur (May 13, 1922 – April 25, 2009) was an American actress, comedian, and singer whose career spanned seven decades. I really like how this list is shaping up. These aren't the usual suspects. We're seeing lots of debuts, and quite honestly, it's a bit of fresh air in the whole HEY THEY SHOULD RIFF THIS discussion. I'm seeing some of these and I'm all "...yeah, that WOULD be fun." For realsy. I'm gonna put some of these on the consideration list for this year's iRiff. :)

39. Ben and Arthur - (2002) - 24 points
(1 of 11 lists. Highest ranking - #2 Sugar Ray Dodge)

Directed by Sam Mraovich
Starring Sam Mraovich, Jamie Brett Gabel, Michael Haboush

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XVPOjXmCQ0 If you have reservations about the subject matter, rest assured that EVERYBODY that sees this movie agrees that this it is hilariously bad. EVERYBODY! From 'kipedia:

Quote
The film has been almost universally panned by critics. Rotten Tomatoes' editorial staff ranked it #15 on their list of "Films So Bad They're Unmissable", stating "If Tommy Wiseau's The Room is the over-wrought, melodramatic and self-pitying heterosexual camp classic of choice, then Sam Mraovich's Ben & Arthur is its gay equivalent." Rotten Tomatoes went on to cite the poor production values and Arthur's "hissy fits", concluding that the quality of the film was so poor that "Mraovich might as well have shot his story of gay persecution and fightback on a cell phone". Pop culture review site insert-disc likewise compared it to The Room, stating "The Room was better than this. The acting, special effects, music, and writing are bad even compared to 'The Room.' The film is currently 29th on the IMDb Bottom 100.

The film also took particularly criticism from the gay community: The gay pop culture site Queerty called it "the worst gay movie ever", only to later retract the "gay" qualifier and simply declare it "worst. movie. ever." The gay movie review site Cinemaqueer likewise indicated that it was the worst film to have ever been featured on the site, suggesting that the film was too bad to even be parodied on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

34. Air Force One - (1997) - 24 points
(2 of 11 lists. Highest ranking - #4 Compound)

Directed by Wolfgang Petersen
Starring Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman and Glenn Close

I'm amazed that they didn't do this back when they were doing a ton of blockbusters, because there's an Air Force One joke in almost every single feature length Riff.

Watched Krull for the first time a couple years ago.  It is a mess.  It is also a movie that's simultaneously interesting yet dull.  I watched it alone and didn't get much, despite a lot of craziness and stuff that, in theory, should have been guilty pleasure fun.  But I wasn't invested.  And it occurred to me that it would have been a great movie to watch with friends, to point out how ridiculous and faux cool it is.  A perfect choice for Rifftrax.

I ranked this one #25 on my list because I know MKB will actually do it eventually, and because I figured it would be on EVERYBODY'S list, because everybody is always complaining about how the series is unfinished and we need closure and such. Kinda wish I had ranked this a little higher now so it would have a higher ranking in this list, but what can you do?

I was so tickled when this one made it's debut last year. Kinda hoping that it would rank a little bit higher, but I am glad I was able to keep it on the list two years in a row. This is my favorite movie of all time, and I think it's the Holy Grail of movie riffing. If you can do this, you can do ANYTHING.
