The killer went on to become the head of the Albuquerque DEA.

Working at a restaurant with no customers is really hard work.

Slicing completely through someone's forearm is no big deal.

I learned that at sometimes the makers of this movie took the idea of shooting "day for night" a bit too literally.

I learned that men who spend their who lives on/around a lake and who's occupation is repairing boats don't learn how to swim.

Reading Lake Tenkiller's Wikipedia page I learned that the actual lake's name comes from the family name of those who owned the lake and not any legend surrounding the lake, of which nothing is mentioned of a Native American woman who killed 10 men.

I learned that a person can call a phone that is disconnected and magically triangulate its position. Then drive to the location without any help from map or GPS system.

I also learned that you need a dull sound track in every scene that is louder than all of the actors. The sound track also sounds like the beginnings of Film Ventures International movies, such as Cave Dwellers (NO NO) and Pod People (It Stinks)  :) And this movie also had inappropriate music for each scene. I was expecting some ancient Enya song to start playing during a murder scene.

I also learned that just like the Super Mario Brothers movie this one also thought it was going to have a sequel.

I also learned that washing your hair in the sink takes much longer then in a shower, and she deserved to be killed at that point.

Another good way of building tension is to reveal the identity of the killer like 3 minutes into the movie.
Oh bite me, it's fun!

Also, make sure he's completely bland.

I learned the best friend character in a movie can be more likable and have more character development than the lead.
