"Night of the Demon" (1980) is obviously bizarre.
Its a dirty little classic, and probably available for streaming?.
But its got dirty nudity in it.
It was one of the British no good nicks.

(Its the one were they rip a guy's dick off!)

probably a bit out there but anything by Miyazaki. Porco Rosco could be pretty funny

Europtrip. Forgotten but funny teen comedy.

Leprachauns. The main villain is the same actor who goes on to play Professor Flitwick in Harry Potter. There's plenty o' gold in this blarney.

The Cornetto Trilogy. If your unfamiliar its Simon Pegg and Nick Frost movies in order: Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End. Those two are funny, their satires are modern classics of british humor.

Game of Thrones. More fantasy but still plenty of material to cover now.

The Dirty Dozen, Patton, Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down. War movies can have some pretty funny moments. Or is it too soon?

The Ninth Gate. A suspense movie about a cult worshiping the devil that was pretty good. It also had johnny depp just off of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I don't know, but I suspect Miyazaki is out of the question, due to copyright or the insane cost of getting a license to do one of his movies.  still, it's a great idea!

Don't think the vibe of My Neighbor Totoro is really all that conducive to riffing. Kinda like watching your neighborhood bully beat up the Jewish kid with asthma. It can be funny, but you feel dirty when its all over and done with.

Just submitted my suggestion. I can't believe no one else suggested Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat! I mean David Carradine and Bruce Campbell in the same movie?!?

I have to say I'm going with first a truly bad fantasy movie starring David Carradine !!! I know i get choked up talking about him too. Anyway it's called Wizards of the Lost Kingdom 2 , and it's truly an awful movie !!!

The other is a movie i really like ,but would love to see it Riffed one so it will be seen by more people , and two it should be easy to do it's called I Come In Peace (dark angel) starring Dolph Lundgren !!!

Focus less on films that are just an eye sore and more on at least technically proficient movies that are visual interesting (framed well, shot well, etc.)

Also, my top seven I'd like to see riffed:

1. Boxing Helena

2. Five Dolls for an August Moon (1970)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oc4uhJiF0JU

3. Rad (1987)

Rad's BMX dance number... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaWsVHv5dGc

4. Journey to the Far Side of the Sun (1969)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3YmE5yhKxM

5. Brainstorm (1983)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNiZP2G-nEM

6. Patrick (1978)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mckNPYADMkQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jb0yab5GpU

7. Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
"a 1974 American musical horror film written and directed by Brian De Palma" - Wikipedia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2n5qVJEg3qA

If I can get it up to ten I'll post it in the top ten thread. :0)

I wouldn't class Birdemic as film, it can only possibly be the propaganda of a doomsday cult that caters exclusively to mentally-retarded people.

The Rift [endless descent] (1990)

Currently watching it on amazon, it's got jack scalia, r. lee ermey, and ray wise. deliciously cheesy and the plot clips along nicely, no padding, no deep cuts, just how i like it

made an account just to call attention to it. it's pretty great

Just saw SAMURAI COP!!!   Best Live Show in a while!!!!!   Um...  but it begs the question...    WHEN ARE YOU GOING AFTER THE FREAKING SEQUEL?????  Tommy Wiseau???  An older, shrivelled Kardenas???  GOOD LORD!!  There has NEVER, EVER been a "film" more DESERVING!!!    (OK, sorry about all the crazy punctuation...  Also-  GOOD LORD!!  IN THE NAME OF THE KING???  (the first one)...  Possibly the most RIDICULOUS 'Sword & Sorcery' film made...  If you don't believe me, (and aren't already sold by seeing Burt Reynolds as a Medieval KING, and RAY LIOTTA as a Medieval SORCERER, then check out the Commentary by Uwe Boll..  He brings his dog along for the recording, and at one point, he actually takes a call & talks for a couple of minutes in German, and later, leaves the booth for a coffee... He actually tells the mixer to keep the movie rolling while he's gone...  This thing is seriously one of the silliest films ever made...)
