Release dates of Legend single-riffer titles
« on: October 18, 2011, 05:25:42 AM »
Hey everybody. I've been trying to put together a time line of the titles Legend released with commentaries by Mike. I'm hoping that somebody here has some records or a long memory and can confirm or correct me.

I tried to get this info from the Legend people, but it seems there is nobody there now who was there then, so no help there.

Going back through our site, here's what I have:

2004
Reefer Madness--4/20 (heh)
Night of the Living Dead--9/7

2005
Carnival of Souls--3/29
The Three Stooges in Color (Film Crew segments)--4/26
House on Haunted Hill--9/6
Plan 9 from Outer Space--12/15

2006
Little Shop of Horrors--5/1

Can anybody confirm or correct these?

Also two titles I have questions about:

The solo-riff version of "Swing Parade." I have a released date here of 3/27/07 [http://video.barnesandnoble.com/DVD/Swing-Parade/Phil-Karlson/e/844503000965]. That would have put it well into the RiffTrax era. Is that right?

Second is about "Missile to the Moon." Was there ever a solo riff of that or was the first time Mike tackled it the Fred Willard RiffTrax version?

Thanks for any info anybody has.

The first Missile riff was definitely with Fred Willard. It arrived at the same time as the Legend disc.

Yeah. Swing Parade came out well into the Rifftrax era. The Rank-a-Riff thread was created on 1/19/07, which predates the 3/27 bit. I do remember it being sometime in January...
