Certainly liked this one better than the pilot... but I smell a Mythbusters episode...
Can a rubber life raft plug a large hole in an unpressurized airliner without getting sucked out?
My guess:
not in a million years; in a fraction of a second the suction would pull it into the hole far enough for the sharp plane edges to rip the plastic, which would instantly allow all the air out... even if it was strong enough to not buckle fully inflated. Heck, the pressure difference between the air in the raft and the much lower pressure outside the raft would be likely to make it pop even before the ripping could take place.
Even with Joss as nothing more than overseer, I agree with Pak, the show is fun in a way not seen in a long time [I'd add, "since Joss' last show was on"].
However, happy as I am that Joss is the Big Kahuna in Marvel's 'second wave', I'd much rather see Joss himself give us 72 hours of his own personal work on the small screen in three years, rather than four hours in two movies, three years apart. I just hope his success between Avengers, the Second Wave, and - presumably - S.H.I.E.L.D., gives him the clout to do so in the future, with whatever the hell he feels like making getting maintained and renewed long enough to find its audience.
