Be a perfect way to introduce Squirrel Girl for the Thanos story they have coming in the films.

The hell?! Did she rape him to death or something? Why is he in that position, with smoke coming from his ass?!

I woke in that position with smoke coming out of my ass after paying ten bucks to see "Skyline."
"Did she just say Chipping?"

Never piss off Tippy-Toe.  He took down Richard Gere the same way once.

She's the Asian one in our group!

From the AV Club:
Quote
Out to defy our expectations—or simply forced into circumstance because our suggestions keep getting cast on other shows—Joss Whedon seems to be looking beyond the edges of the Whedonverse to cast his S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot. He's given the show's first original role, that of Agent Melinda May, to Ming-Na Wen, known in some circles as the voice of Disney's Mulan and for her turns on ER and in The Joy Luck Club, and in some outside circles shouting at that confused inner circle that, no, she's Chun-Li in Street Fighter. She'll join the returning Clark Gregg and his resurrected/life model decoy of Agent Coulson as a pilot who's "soulful and slightly damaged by her combat experiences"—a character description that was assigned in that earlier leaked casting call to "Agent Althea Rice" (suggesting there may have been a name change here to avoid it sounding too much like, you know, "Agent Asian Person"). Anyway, all assumptions that Whedon would be returning to his usual acting stable to populate this series have hereby been challenged, at least until Amy Acker shows up.

Odd, it's like I heard a high-pitched whistle or something.

Question: which of the Whedon stable would be best to play Rick Jones?  Also, if you could go to the Whedon stable, which person would you shoe?

No one gets shoed at the Whedon stable.

After watching the movie, I'd really like to see Cobie Smulders on it.  How I Met Your Mother is running on fumes at this point, and looks like its going to end this season.  She's awesome and believably tough.

What's Adam Baldwin up to? He could be a SHIELD agent!

Cobie was perfectly cast for that role, having her on the show would be a great bonus.

It would be interesting if one of the end credit scenes was a teaser for the show, rather than the next movie.

Or the opening shot in the show is of low-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. agents cleaning up the mess left at the schawarma restaurant. ;D

Sorry Banner hulked out and broke your slushie machine. Here's money to replace it. *sigh* No, Captain America will not be in your TV ad. No, we can't give you Black Widow's phone number, sir.

I really hope the pilot (since pilots have bigger budgets traditionally) it really opens with them CSI-ing in the aftermath of a superhero battle, it would be a fun perspective to establish them.

We already got a peek of something like that with the short film on the Avengers disc. If the series is similar to that I think I'd be happy.
