Trivia fact! The German version of MST3K was translated by the German TV comedian Oliver Kalkofe. Many jokes were changed to jokes about German tv shows and stars. Kalkofe even added some new jokes.

"Into the Weenie-mobile.  Weenie-Man away!"

MST3k: the Movie is pretty good, but it didn't quite make my list.  Close, but not quite.  Maybe if the host segments were better...

But that movie has a ton of laugh lines.

"Suddenly, I have a refreshing mint flavour."

Oddly, MST3K:The Movie didn't even occur to me.

Also, I note that today is the anniversary of it's release.

I remember seeing Unforgiven in the theaters. I was excited to think that Clint Eastwood was returning to westerns. I don't remember what the movie was about at all, but I remember being extremely disappointed. I don't know if anything actually happened in that movie.

Also I am ashamed to say I forgot about the MST3k movie.  :-[

Cowboys are stupid.

I can't agree with a blanket statement like that. I just thought that movie was stupid.

Never saw it. I remember a friend telling me in high school how much he liked it, and as he was talking excitedly about it, trying to "sell" it to me, everything he said about it made me want to see it even less.  I just don't like cowboy movies, regardless of the individual cowboy's intelligence.

Was there a particular movie that made you hate the genre or is it the idea of cowboys in general?

The Trigonometry Kid respects your opinion.

I love Unforgiven, but it is a movie that improves with the knowledge of the myth of Clint Eastwood, since it's sort of a de-mythologying (not a word) of the Sergio Leone westerns, while celebrating them.

See, I don't see actual cowboys in the timeperiod being the same as the modern conservative ignorant American redneck. Although I hate that they are treated so manly and tough when they solve all their problems with guns. I just find the time period so ungodly BORING. I don't care about horses (and I don't think horses are beautiful animals). The only technology they have at the time was guns (which they use like hammers to solve all their problems with) and trains, which I just don't care about either. I just don't care about any of their problems, since most of them are caused by assholes being assholes because their is not modern society and barely any laws to keep them from doing so.

Trivia fact! The song "When Love Is Gone" was originally dropped from the theatrical release because Disney thought it would be too sad for young children. This led to an obvious edit in the scene it's supposed to be in and may cause some confusion to Scrooge, Gonzo & Rizzo's reactions. The scene was restored in the VHS and laser discs releases. However, it isn't used in TV airings of the movie and the first DVD release. It's available on the 10th anniversary edition DVD, but only if on full screen presentation.

That song didn't sadden me as a kid, but it did bore the hell out of me. I'm still not a huge fan of that particular song.

Hey, look at that! A completely wrong opinion!
