10. Perfect Blue (1999) – 16 pts

Kudos for including Perfect Blue. Its flaws were all really a part of the definition of the Giallo film genre, which it was an homage to. Nevertheless, they kept it off the list for me.

I'll have to check out the DX of Dark City sometime. A long time ago, I found a music synch thing (forget the term) for it that used the Godspeed You! Black Emperor album "Raise Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven." It was basically like the Dark Side of the Moon / Wizard of Oz thing (which incidentally might make Oz worth watching; never tried it). Anyway, I never got around to trying it, and the site I found it on died. If it worked, it should have been really awesome. If only...

I applaud all of these. 

Quick Change is highly underrated and one of Bill Murray's best.  Although What About Bob? is probably my fave of his (and a glaring omission from my own list!)

6. In The Mouth of Madness (1994) - Has Sutter Cane posted his list yet? Because I refuse to believe I'm the only one who picked this.
7. Dark City (1998) - No excuse here. George, you get a high five for putting it so high.

25. Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995) - Admittedly put on because I totally spaced on Apollo 13 (heh) and Trainspotting.

Another good list down, one that spelled out the strange, occasionally mistaken movie sensibilities of this board. As all lists ultimately should.

Also, Quick Change really is a grossly underrated film. I realize I didn't put it on my list, but it still needs to be said.

Replacing "finger" with "flipper" in the Matrix is still my favorite. It doesn't even change the meaning, and what? the word "finger" is offensive?
