Apollo 13 was a BIG movie for me as a kid. I watched it. A lot.

Apollo 13 probably should've made my list, considering how much I like to watch it (and yeah, I totally forgot South Park as well. Probably because I don't really watch the show any more, even though I love the movie). Good that Trainspotting showed up, that one's a keeper.

I know that I should've included Mononoke, but when it comes to Ghibli I tend to stick closer to the Spirited Away/How's Moving Castle side of things, so wrong decade there.

And am I the only one that doesn't like American Beauty? Kevin Spacey's great performance aside, it just struck me as so incredibly hollow and smug that I sorta wanted to punch the poster by the end of it.

This is the first one so far that I completely forgot about, but wish I hadn't. Probably Ron Howard's best movie.

I like the movie, but I find a lot of people who don't like the movie really find it hollow while those who do often get a lot out of it.  I suppose it's based on what you find in it.  I guess that's the nature of art.
