O's tied for first place in the AL East with 4 games left.  I'm not much of a fan of baseball in general, so I'm a very fair weather fan when it comes to the O's, and there's not been much fair weather recently.  This is exciting though.  They haven't made the playoffs since I was a kid.

Pulled into a half point out of first in Roto! Tied in saves with the guy in 1st, tied in wins with the guy in 3rd! Trailing the guy in 1st in ERA by 0.01. My two starters today both sucked. I have two more going tomorrow and 4 closers.

(Looks like 3rd place for me in Head to Head, and 1st by a mile in Razzball.)

Espn saaaaad that their over published home teams of Dodgers and Angels did not playoffs.

After weeks of over reported how dodgers picked up "many superstars on blockbuster" trades, gee, their make up of news hardly being mentioned on TV.   They are sad the Cards made playoffs again.

Maybe some day espn will get out of having bad reporting and will actually think again.

Why do they love them? There is nothing to love about them this year.  3 outs away from (Salty strikes out. Shocker.) ..... 2 outs away from the end of Bobby V!!!!!!!!!

What did happen to them?  It was looking so good for them to have a winning season this year, then they fell apart.

The AP article on the firing of Bobby V is pretty funny.  Sounds like he has paranoia issues, blaming other coaches, medical staff, just about everyone except the ownership.

It's as if he thinks everyone was against him...., oh, right, maybe he wasn't paranoid after all, just plain old crazy.

Can anyone explain what the controversy was that caused the delay in the braves game?

Tuned in late  and they haven't really explained it well. The umps messed up an infield fly call?
