The 2014 NBA Thread
« on: December 09, 2011, 05:50:40 AM »
So, there is a big three team trade and the NBA steps in and voids it for "basketball reasons".   The reason is the other NBA owners talked to the commish can complained about the Lakers getting Chris Paul and clearing cap space so they can get Dwight Howard.

The NBA...... a continual joke.

I am sure the Rockets who moved several of their players in an attempt to have cap room to sign a center are "pleased" this morning.   Oh hai guys, sorry about trying to trade you, dont worry we really value your services.

I'm happy it's back. Go Bucks!

The season's gonna be brutal league-wide. These back-to-back-to-back games are gonna be killers.

And damn, Rubio's court-vision is incredible. I wasn't aware it was that good. He didn't do much of anything against us earlier in the week for some unknown reason, but the show he put on against OKC & Miami.

I cannot see Boston winning more than one game, but you never know.   Never bet on sports!

American sports don't end in ties right?

American sports don't end in ties right?

Not basketball.

Regular season pro football games end in a tie if the score is still tied after the overtime period. In the playoffs, if the score is still tied after the overtime period, they keep playing sudden death until one team scores.
