A Munsters reboot is completely unnecessary...but Bryan Fuller could make it really interesting.

Also, I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Brad Garrett as Herman and Richard Kind as Grandpa is the only casting of current actors that would make any sense to me.

It's about time NBC attempted a reboot of something.

Wasn't there already a '90s reboot of this?
There was one or two absolutely AWEFUL made for TV movies, as I recall.

No, there was a reboot from 88-91. I never saw any of it, but...yeah.
So was what I'm thinking of a feature length pilot or something?

There were also two made-for-TV movies released in the 90's (obviously meant to capitalize on the popularity of the then-recent Addams Family movies) that were supposed to be reboots of the series.

Just wanted to remind everyone that this still exists, but Community with Dan Harmon does not.  That is all.

It's called Mockingbird Lane now. And they just cast Eddie Munster apparently:

EDIT: Wait....EDDIE IZZARD is playing Grandpa?!

Am I the only one that watch this and thought it really had potential? I really liked Eddie Izzard as Grandpa. The only thing that annoyed me was how the tended to shoot Jerry O'Connell/Herman from below so that he looked taller than he really is. If you're going to change the story as much as they did, why does Herman still have to be huge?

Yeah, I did like the pilot a lot more than I expected. I didn't notice them shooting Herman from low angles, but the intro shot of his shadow was great.
