My deep, dark secret is that my playlist consists of nearly 1/3. . . Counting Crows. I'm a fan by default, because I was name after a song of theirs. *Hangs head in shame* If anyone asks, it's after a They Might Be Giants song, kapeesh?

Oh please, I have no problem admitting to liking any of the people I like but I know when they fall into this category so here we go:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/LOZuxwVk7TU" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/LOZuxwVk7TU</a>
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/PstrAfoMKlc" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/PstrAfoMKlc</a>
I think those two need no explanation.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/8kAU3B9Pi_U" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/8kAU3B9Pi_U</a>
I made that one larger so everyone can appreciate the truly magnificent video which, until wurwolf pointed it out to me, I wasn't aware of. I don't think he's ever been on a horse before or since that vid. :D

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/0cmyWPo23Ic" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/0cmyWPo23Ic</a>
(this one's being played if I ever kark it and have to be interred somewhere).

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/bNRkwNC9Ms4" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/bNRkwNC9Ms4</a>
Okay I don't think that has any resonance outside of the UK so maybe Basehart can explain how naff it is.

I have many more but that should be good to be going along with. :)

Love Glen Campbell.  Always been partial to Galveston.

And he must have ridden a horse in True Grit.  He couldn't have gone the entire movie without being on a horse at least once.  Maybe he just sucks at cowboy.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

Yeah I'm exaggerating slightly there, he does indeed sit on a horse in True Grit, he doesn't look any more steady though...

I have numerous "guilty pleasures" from my childhood (Midnight at the Oasis, Wildfire, Undercover Angel and other similar Top 40 AOR from the early to mid-70s)

but the one song that I could NEVER admit to my friends I like is

Careless Whisper from Wham

I would so totally lose all my metal cred.  :(
