Only half joking here. The song is fairly gorgeous to listen to.

A bunch of Weakerthans songs.
Manifest, Hospital Vespers, and Past Due are separate songs, continued from eachother, that were distributed throughout the album. That's why they share a tune. I don't really like them played together like this, but you can still get the picture.

These two songs are related as well. They're from different albums. They've both gotten me to cry, but the second much more than the first. In the first, Virtute the Cat tries to get his owner to get his life together, and it's just so full of hope.

When the next album came out, and it became clear that Virtute's attempt had gone unheeded, it was almost too much. It's probably because I love my own cats so much, but I cry at the second song almost every time. I love the cat's way of understand its own name: "the sound that you found for me". It seems so much more special than a name when it's expressed that way, and that Virtute has forgotten it breaks my heart.

Boards of Canada just sends me on a rocket ship upwards into the cosmos.
Bingo! Especially their really short tracks they seem to pack more emotion into a minute and a half song than most could in a symphony. Examples being "Constants Are Changing", "Over The Horizon Radar", and my favorite "Olson" which nicely blends right into the next track "Pete Standing Alone". Also Duke Ellington & His Orchestra's live performance at Newport in 1956 of "Diminuendo & Crescendo in Blue" with Paul Gonsalves' 27 chorus solo, a choral parts in Ode To Joy get me teared up as well as the final movement of Mahler's 8th Symphony. I'm sure there's more but this is all I can think up at the moment.

EDIT: Holst's The Planets Suite particularly Venus and Neptune.

End of the Tour- TMBG about a car wreck. If I pay attention to the lyrics, haf of their songs make me cry because they're so sad
Diary of Jane (Acoustic)- Breaking Benamin about a suicide(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEVj6ZDgCIo)
Funny The Way It Is- Dave Matthews Band about the whole world
Good Year for the Roses- Elvis Costello about a break up
Hurt - Johnny Cash just the power in his voice
Long Live- Taylor Swift. DON'T MOCK ME!!!
Silent All These Years- Tori Amos about an abusive relationship

And many, many others I choose not to name. What can I say, I'm an emotional little punk!

End of the Tour is a good one.  I love John Henry.  I think a lot of tmbg fans underestimate that album.
