I figured out what was missing in this riff
« on: February 19, 2007, 08:36:45 AM »
After watching this film/rifftrax again, I figured out what was missing with the riff......Kevin smacking Mike for all of his bad puns:

Don't bark at me
Joshua, nice to tree you
This scene is just dragging
Josh, are you leaveing?

Mike was on a bad pun roll in this film, and I still enjoyed it, but I was waiting subconsciencely for Kevin to put a stop to all of the puns.....

For some reason, I like a good pun every now and then. Must be from reading those Piers Anthony books when I was a kid. That said, I guess Lowtax didn't have the cajones to take Mike to task on that. Oh well, hopefully Kevin will be around to smack Mike down from now on. Since there are no skits with Rifftrax, riffer interaction is one of the things that make these commentaries so great. Not that the solo 'trax aren't entertaining . . . perhaps I'm just too used the the comraderie that was there in MST3K.
