...it's a message board.  It's not hard to figure out.

Tumblr, on the other hand, I don't get at all.

That's funny. I find Tumblr way more intuitive and use it constantly. To each their own.

It's just pictures, yes? no original content? And nobody can say anything about the pictures, just repost other people's reposts?

No, you can do videos, links, text posts, audio posts, and depending on the theme you're using, make comments. It's extremely simplified in its basic form, though, which is what I like, since I AM primarily using it to follow, post, and reblog art.

Tumblr is similar to pinterest, but the posters think they're a million times better than everyone else, and have a bunch of stupid ideas about everything that they take too far.

This is why I only follow art Tumblr blogs, so I don't have to read garbage posts.

I took my dog for a walk this spring and two squirrels were playing in a tree and one was holding onto the other one on a lower branch about jaw level with my Doberman.  She just looked at them and kept walking.  Lucky squirrels.
