The new fawns are out in force near my house. You come across them late at night sometimes, out doing the frolicking thing with the rest of the family. Only, while Mom and Dad pull off the road when a car (slowly) pulls forward, these guys just sort of skip ahead down the street. Which is unfortunate, since it turns into a street that's got an iron fence on one side an a very steep grade on the other, so they're effectively stuck there and don't quite know where to go. And we have to inch along behind them while they figure it out, until Mom and Dad get frustrated, bolt around the side of the car, and herd them down the hill to parts unknown, possibly for a solid chewing out and/or licking.
