Nerdy Shirts
« on: September 08, 2011, 12:40:05 PM »
Since there are a number of sites offering shirts with MST3K or other themes that are near and dear, I thought I'd start a thread about it.

Feel free to post images of great shirts for sale that you come across.  The only thing I ask is that you keep it nerdy.

A few great sites:
teefury.com (available one day only)
cotdt.com (available one day only)
shirtoid.com (sometimes available longer)

Today's cotdt (catch of the day tees) is a good one $10 + $3 shipping:

Also worth bearing in mind is that many of the designs at Teefury can later or also be found at shirtroid.

I've got a bunch from COTDT. My wife and I both won shirts from them on the bookface as well.

I've been getting nerdy shirts from Thinkgeek for years now. http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Nothing from MST3K that I've ever seen, though. They do have a great selection of other products like books, caffeinated beverages and cubicle toys, though.

And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Threadless, the greatest T-shirt site on the net in my opinion. Not strictly "nerdy" shirts but all of them are just plain cool. New designs are uploaded every week by various independent artists (who are compensated for the sales of their designs). Only the most popular shirts are printed, however, and once they're gone, you can vote for a reprint but if it isn't popular it's gone for good. www.threadless.com

Got a free Castleton shirt from COTDT on Facebook myself. I suppose I should throw some real money their way whenever I have some. Would love that Pyuma Man shirt, but my wallet is a tad empty at the moment.

Neat! I'm currently wearing my "Sonic Vortex" tee for which was at teefury to commemorate Who's return in late August.

My most recent favorite purchases are:

Sagan, Mythbusters, Beakman, Nye and toss in Kari for good measure? Too easy of a sell!

Slothbert & Chunkie!

And I'll have a bottle of this, please:

...w/ a dish of Lo Pan's pan noodles while I'm patronizing his restaurant:

How I love the teefury & redbubble.

I still want a DIE MICHAEL BAY DIE t-shirt (preferably black with the Bayformers poster font).

I also really want a "I'M SCIENCIER!" t-shirt. Dr. Insano is awesome!

Topatoco.com has a bunch of great ones. I have this one:

It has everything I'd need to reinvent / rediscover the major inventions / discoveries of scientific history JUST IN CASE I am transported to the past.
