Honestly it's like the fecking Lemonheads, I know they had other songs but I can only think of one.

You know the sad thing, my best man was their label rep in the Detroit and surrounding market when they were at the top of whatever wave they were riding (I have a promotional Frisbee somewhere, guess what colour it is).

Honestly I don't hate their stuff, and I remembered the one you posted when i heard it, but the track I posted is the only one that sticks in my memory.

Oh and this is the only Lemonheads song I can think of:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/-1FybvwFGpo" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/-1FybvwFGpo</a>

And that is the 90s isn't it?

But I really like this:
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/1N29vkIT3eo" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/1N29vkIT3eo</a>

Garbage really rocked the shit out of their first album, and each one got progressively worse.  Then they broke up.

Reminds me of the last time period I actually listened to the radio. I must have heard "Only Happy When It Rains" 500 times. Very cool tune.

The Beast With A Billion Backs

The Planet Express crew must work to fix rips between their universe and another inhabited by a planet-sized, tentacle alien which soon takes over the Earth and uses it's ability to control Fry to command an entire religion which takes over and convinces the inhabitants of Earth to abandon the Earth to live in a pseudo-heaven, leaving the robots of the world to inherit the planet

 Personal thoughts:

A lot of people didn’t care for this one as much as Bender’s Big Score, but I think it’s pretty good.  I love the idea of one universe going on a date with another (I love mixing Sci-fi high concepts with comedy) and the moment when Fry tells Bender that robots can’t go to heaven is very heartbreaking.

L.O.C. #44 - Top Futurama Episodes

Attack of the Killer App

Thoughts
This episode pretty much perfectly captured my feelings regarding gadgetry and social media.

The Wiki
The episode opens with the Planet Express crew recycling their old electronics. After dropping off all the Earth’s recyclables on the Third World they decide it would be better to keep using their old electronics. This changes when they see a commercial for MomCorp’s new eyePhone. The crew all buy eyePhones, which feature the Twitcher application. Bender and Fry get into a competition to get the most followers, wagering a dollar and stating that the loser must jump into a tub of two-headed alien goat vomit and diarrhea.

LoC Rest of the Best - Day 45 – Rifftrax Wishlist 4

The Octagon

The Octagon is a 1980 action film with Chuck Norris in the leading role. It was directed by Eric Karson and written by Paul Aaron and Leigh Chapman. It was filmed in Los Angeles, California and released on August 14, 1980. It is notable for its inventive use of 'voice over' effects to portray the inner life of Chuck Norris's character, Scott James. This was actor Richard Norton's film debut.
Scott's life is plagued by two kinds of flashbacks. First are the childhood memories of the rigorous training he and a friend endured under a martial arts master. The second is of a mission Scott went on that ended with him watching his friend get murdered. Scott later becomes drawn closer to a vicious crime ring known as The Octagon. As he gets closer to the truth, Scott learns that these may be the men that murdered his friend so long ago.

 Personal thoughts:

Me and a friend watched this mess on AMC late one night.  It was terrible, and yet we could not look away.  There are probably dumber action films, but they haven’t done a Norris film yet (and yes, I’m sick of all the Norris fact jokes too, but there’s a lot more to work with here.

If you're a blonde man, you shouldn't have a mustache.  Unless you have braids and a horned helmet too.

How about if you're blond and all you have is the facial hair?

I do have a monicle lying around somewhere.

I'm not as blond as I used to be certainly, I used to look like one of the children of the damned.

How many Rifftrax wishlists are we going to do? Couldn't we have done this once and submitted four entries?
