Interesting.  I'll watch it.  At least a few episodes.  I mean, I kind of have to.  I have 42 tattooed on my wrist in D'ni.

That does look good. The only thing that worries me is how strong the connection will be to the original source material... yes I know the original source material had a gigantic octopus.

RIP voice actress Russi Taylor.
Man, she was everywhere back in the day. She was Pac-Baby, Huey, Dewey, Louie, AND Webby in the original DuckTales, and she's like half of Springfield Elementary.

She was even young Donald in the new Ducktales.

Russi has also been Minnie Mouse since 1986.  Here's her last work.

Now that I've watched Good Omens, and I loved it, Amazon Prime keeps recommending a 2006 Hogfather show, apparently also related to Terry Pratchett. I've never read any Terry Pratchett books (I know, I should). Is the Hogfather show any good?

Hogfather is fantastic and it's a great standalone story if you're unfamiliar with the Discworld universe.

This looks pretty interesting.  I like the animation anyway.  Can't quite tell if the story will be too convoluted or not.  Probably give it a watch.

Yes, the Hogfather mini-series is fantastic.  It made me a fan of Michelle Dockery before Downton Abbey

There are 2 other Terry Pratchett mini-series, Going Postal and Color of Magic.

Going Postal is maybe a notch below Hogfather, but a lot of fun to watch, and is also on Prime.

Color of Magic is about the same, but not streaming anywhere that I'm aware of.

I watched the first episode of The Hogfather. It was enjoyable, but not as good as Good Omens. There seemed to be a lot of it where the enjoyment would come from having read the book and simply recognizing things from it one screen. So not having read the book, things just seem to come out of nowhere with no explanation.
But I did enjoy it enough to watch the rest of it later.
