Luke Cage just got cancelled.  I'll say that I'm not too disappointed as the Marvel show's quality in general have been on a downward slide (have any of them even had a completely solid second season?) but it's a shame they won't get a chance to right the ship.  Plus, I think of all of the sophomore slumps, Luke Cage still handled theirs the best thanks to some great acting and fight scenes and some interesting characters.

*I* considered Luke Cage s2 excellent. In fact, other than Iron Fist s2, which I haven't watched yet, I've loved all of the second seasons.

I don't think I've seen any of the season 2s, just too many shows to watch.

From what I just read it seems Netflix and Marvel didn't like the scripts for season 3 of Luke Cage and wanted staff changes, neither side would give in so the show was canceled.

Just as long as Ducktales(new) gets a dvd/blu-ray release. When I watch Duck Tales I am officially in the zone... even if it is a manic zone.
