Running low on podcast material is a mixed blessing. It's sad when I'm all caught up on my favorite ones, but fantastic when I discover what look to be gems on other, newer (to me) shows. Just downloaded 20hrs' worth tonight. I listen to almost a minimum of 2hrs a day. Which means when I fly out to L.A. on Saturday, I may actually be caught up!  :speechless: ;) And, for discussion's sake, I downloaded back episodes of Pop My Culture, Marc Maron's WTF, Star Talk (Neil DeGrasse Tyson? Yes please!), and I'll be hearing my first non-Weird Al Nerdist eps as well. Man, I am a comedy nerd, ain't I?

EDIT: I just discovered a Mike Nelson interview from We Hate Movies podcast! Also one with Stephen Tobolowsky! Woo!

And it just got released by The Times (presumably for some of the things they were saying about Murdoch on it).  They're looking in to doing somewhere else, or by other means, so I don't think it will go away.  Fingers crossed.

If you haven't checked out the [Citation Needed] podcast that I do, there's a lot more episodes now, and I just put out the newest one yesterday. Lots of skits, with appearances from Sean, Mike, Kevin, Bill, Paul Sabourin of Paul and Storm, Josh Fruhlinger (The Comics Curmudgeon) and Paul F. Tompkins. Enjoy some Wikipedia based nonsense this weekend!

Josh Way has a new podcast out.  It's pretty interesting stuff & I highly recommend it.

Yes, it's about the Bible. But it's a non-preachy look at the Bible.  You definitely don't have to be a Christian to listen to it.

If you want to hear an interview with Joel Hodgson, there's a great interview that occurred on the Nerdist recently.  Includes some MSt3k info I've never heard before (like the origin of the shape of the Satellite of Love, which proves Trace is a genius), his work on Trashed and his short-lived show TV Wheel.

Also, he's finally watching the Mike, Kevin and Bill episodes on Netflix and is laughing his ass off (his words).

I listened to a couple of episodes.  I'm not really feeling it.

I've added Big Pop Fun to my regular weekly listening.  It's Tom Wilson's (Biff from Back to the Future) podcast and he's a genial, smart host who gets some really great guests.

I LOVE Big Pop Fun. Between that, Talkin' Toons with Rob Paulsen, and the Tobolowsky Files, the "fun showbiz stories with a really nice guy I was already a big fan of" podcast genre has really taken off.

I love the Tobolowsky files too.  Though for some reason, the iTunes listing is missing a whole bunch of them.

The Pod F Tompkast finally returned and added about 5 new episodes in a one month period in an attempt to catch up.  That is pretty damned valiant.

Here's a taste:

I love Paul F Tompkins, but I've never found his scripted stuff to be funny.  His improv work is tremendous though.

I haven't checked in since the AP Mike tribute show, but I'm sure I'll get all caught up in a month or so. The show they did after Hurricance Sandy last November was really moving.

So yes, a fan. Also, I never once visualized the John Wesley Shipp/Soap Opera loving democrat to look like this:

Oh, Spike. :)

My podcast rotation is:

We Hate Movies
Mental Illness Happy Hour
Hang Up and Listen
Who Charted

Whenever time permits:

The Flop House
How Did This Get Made?
The Best Show on WFMU
