What's the deal with some of these games not being released for the Wii? I don't see why these sorts of Third Party developers are so averse to the system itself. With the classic controller it would be a cinch to play these games like they were for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

It's because the Wii, while an awesome piece of hardware, can't really swing the polygons that the HD twins can, so to develop for Nintendo they have to essentially make a different game. Some delegate the task to some other company, a few actually make a good experience for both, and some don't bother. There's also the perception (And the sales sadly back this up) that a mature title will never sell on the Wii.

The upside is that there are a lot of great games on the Wii that won't be released on the Xbox or PS3 either (Although Move and Natal may change things, assuming the people buy into them).

Software programming also is a huge factor. I'm actually surprised Valve is doing anything for the PS3 since they announced earlier that the development kits to make games for the PS3 was not nearly as easy as the 360's kit. I'd be interested to see if they've messed around with Nintendo's dev kit although getting a license for those costs a shit load of money.

It's too bad there's not a version of Portal for the Wii. I think it would be fun to use that Wii gun attachment thing to make portals.

If they added development for the Wii, this game would probably be delayed another 2 years...Although they could do a side game like how EA made Dead Space: Extraction. It would be interesting to see Valve develop something for the Wii. However, since the most recent console I own is an original Nintendo, it won't do me much good.

Looks like it's going to have even more of that awesome dark humor.

Playing through Portal and thinking about Portal 2, I just hope Valve fits "Self Esteem Fund" into the sequel, because it's a fantastic piece of Sci-Fi music:

Valve has always had good music, and I know that Jonathan Coulton has been writing stuff for Portal 2. I wonder if he can top "Still Alive"

I don't even think that's POSSIBLE... but if it is, Valve can make it happen.

Catch the "copyrighted" phrases near the beginning. "Asbestos is harmless!" from the Excursion Tunnel vid is my favourite.

Wow, all that stuff on the GameTrailers TV episode looked amazing...

They're not keeping that animator as the voice of Wheatley, though.  >:(

It's also on Steam's Videos section in HD.

Updated Wheately vid (not sure about the actual voice actor - I still think I like the animator who did the voice for the E3 demo better):
