If I were the king
All my subjects, they would dance and sing
They could kiss my ring
and kiss my ass

When I'm old and grey
I'll look back on my life and say
Give me one more day
And still I'll never do anything

If I were in charge, I would make my underlings travel under silly assumed names for no reason.

Additionally, there would be a mandatory fine, the proceeds of which would go toward funding public education, every time someone misuses the word "literally".

If I were the boss, no one would be allowed to add erroneous letters to their child's name or give it a dumb spelling. I don't care how unique a snowflake you think your kid is; calling her Allacyn is ridiculous.

Oh and also, I'd do everything like this.

There's a woman at my work named Courtney.  Except it's spelled Courtenay.  I imagine a birth certificate typed up in a hurry and parents who just said "fuck it, I'm not paying to get this corrected".

Apparently that's a common enough spelling that I get asked specifically if my name is spelled that way. No. It's spelled real.

That's the original spelling and dates from at least the 10th century. I know, it's one of the distaff names in my family (though most of the recent generation use the more common, more recent, form, that which you use for a first name) :)

If I were in charge everybody would have Nickmas off as a paid holiday. :)

If I were boss, I would ban country music and exile Garth Brooks to some island off the coast of Antarctica.

From the Cowardly Lion to Mel Brooks, we were taught well to be driftnets of pop culture.  :)

If I were the boss, clothing would be optional!!!
