Ok the analysts on TBS are trying to compare Halladay's no-hitter to Don Larson's in 56.  C'mon.

Ho-hum, just a no hitter!

It wasn't a perfect game though, he walked a guy, sheesh, get that guy outta here....

He had an RBI and scored from second, so I guess we can let the walk slide.

That sure was fun to watch.   ;D  :highfive:

Well maybe the Twins will show up for tomorrow's game, they certainly didn't bother tonight.

Is it possible to change the manager on the post season roster? Joe Torre is available.

Whoa, I guess the Reds and Phillies are making up for yesterdays near perfect game with a crapfest....

That kid throwing 100+ is something, too bad he got no defence behind him...

Let's see what  Madson -> Lidge can do...

After one the most embarrassing performances ever seen in the playoff the Twins are going to give Gardenhire an extension.

I wish I could have extended job security as a reward for doing a terrible job.

My former company always promoted the idiots to the level above where they could really cause damage.  The hard working smart people paid the price by constantly getting passed over for promotions.  Maybe it's a similar strategy in the Twins org?

He got the Twins to first place, you think he should be replaced?

And that was an honest question since I am not familiar with the situation.

The Twins haven't gotten past the first round of the playoffs since 2002, lost game 163 in '08, and swept in '06 '09 and this year (where they showed no interest whatsoever).  Gardenhire has done as well as he can but it's not good enough to win the title.

Well, the Fighten Phills finally showed up for a game this week, after a series where they have looked half dead, hope they can keep this enthusiasm going....

The MLB front office must be getting nervous at the thought of the Rangers-Giants World Series, that would get terrible ratings.

I'd watch game 1 anyway.  After that... *shrug*
